The station extends between 1400 and 2500 meters above sea level, on both sides of the Col du Tourmalet, to which it owes its name. Barèges occupies the western slope and La Mongie the eastern slope. The connection between the two ski areas is effective since 1973. With 62 trails and 28 lifts our resort is well equipped to welcome beginners and seasoned skiers.
The Grand Tourmalet ski resort is just a 25-minutes drive away Carré Py’ Hotel *** – Bagneres de Bigorre.
